Services
Saying a final farewell to a loved one can be one of the most difficult and emotional experiences we face in life. Planning a funeral at such a highly emotional time can feel incredibly overwhelming and stressful. My aim is to guide you through this period, offering you the time and space to reflect on the life of your loved one, as you share with me your recollections and memories. I will use these to craft a ceremony that really celebrates the life of your loved one, bringing you comfort and solace.
Creating your Ceremony
Initial Meeting
At our initial meeting. I will try to put you at your ease, despite it being an incredibly challenging time. We will sit down together in the comfort of your own home, with a cup of tea and some tissues to hand. Other family members can be present or can join in on Zoom, or Facetime.

My Approach
My approach is to take the time to understand what makes your loved one special. I will listen attentively and encourage you to share fond memories, stories and anecdotes of your family member or friend. As we talk, I will be making notes while you help me gain a real sense of their life and personality.

Your Wishes
My aim is to truly understand your vison and wishes for the service. We can discuss any music, poems and family tributes that you might like to include, as well as other practical considerations. I am also happy to make suggestions of any readings or poems.
I will encourage you to take your time to consider these elements as I don't want you to feel rushed into making any important decisions.

Uniquely Honouring Every Life
I welcome working with people of all faiths or none, and of all cultures and genders.
I am happy to include spiritual content such as a prayer or a hymn or to conduct a non-religious funeral depending on your wishes.
This can be in a setting of your choice such as a natural burial site, a crematorium or a cemetery.

My aim is to help you to create a ceremony that truly honours and celebrates the life of your loved one.

As well as reflection and tears, there will likely be some moments of light relief through laughter. It will be an opportunity to unite with family and friends to give your loved one a fitting farewell.
